TOTAL Isle of Man limited was established on the island in 1989 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of TOTAL UK Ltd.  

Initially TOTAL Isle of Man limited employed 8 people but that figure has now increased to over 70. TOTAL are the leading oil company on the Island having invested millions of pounds in its terminal facilities and service station network, TOTAL now have 11 retail sites on the Isle of Man.

TOTAL Isle of Man limited is based in Peel and supplies products for home, work and transport, as well as a comprehensive range of lubricants. 

Peel

Our fuel terminal, vehicles and offices are all based in Peel. They were built in 1989 as part of a major strategic project for the island. This required underground fuel pipelines to be laid from the Peel breakwater to our terminal three quarters of a mile away. This meant that we had to carefully avoid Peel castle! When this was completed, the Isle of Man had its second deep-water fuel facility and enabled the MEA to build a new power station.
