Total Lindsey Oil Refinery (LOR) in north Lincolnshire is the third largest refinery in Britain. Designed and built to the highest safety standards, it has grown since the 1960s to process ten million tons of crude oil each year today. Five miles from the Humber river estuary, it can take advantage of new North Sea oil discoveries - in fact LOR was the first refinery in the UK to process North Sea oil.

Total engineers at LOR have developed some of the most advanced refining and conversion processes in the industry. As a result, we process over forty different types of crude oil at LOR with ease; we invest heavily in technology and research to keep up our record of innovation and our ability to meet our customers' needs.
