What is a biolubricant?

The term "biolubricant" applies to all lubricants that biodegrade rapidly and which are non-toxic for human beings and aquatic habitats. They may be based on plant oils (such as rapeseed oil) or synthetic esters manufactured from modified renewal oils.

Applications for biolubricants
