TOTAL is strongly committed to the protection of the environment.  This commitment is demonstrated by our groundbreaking operating agreement with the National Environment Agency, which will ensure that we achieve ‘best practice' in environmental performance in the future.  TOTAL is the first oil company to have signed such an agreement and commits to us performing well above our legal environmental obligations, nationally and for the Channel Islands.

Best practise in health and safety is always at the top of the agenda for TOTAL. The recent opening of a refurbished multi million pound depot in Guernsey signals the next stage in TOTAL's commitment to the Channel Islands as we have installed the latest in loading technology and improved existing safety and environmental standards

We have an ongoing risk management programme conducting health, safety and environmental impact assessments on customer delivery sites.  The focus on Health, Safety and the Environment will continue to be a main priority for TOTAL and through our efforts we are pioneering continuous improvements and setting standards for our industry.

We also offer a Free health-check on tank storage systems and customers can call the local office for help and advice.
