Rubia Optima : Total future generation oils are coming to you

The next generation of Heavy Duty Engine Oils is here, establishing new industry standards to deliver significant improvements in engine protection and fuel economy. As everyone in the industry would know by now, the new diesel engine oil specification is due to hit the market on Dec. 1 2016: API CK-4 and FA-4. In the development phase, these oils have been referred to as PC-11A and PC-11B respectively.

Both deliver superior performance over current oils. The former will protect new and older engine models. And the latter was designed to provide optimized fuel economy for 2017 engines and beyond that are designed to take advantage of these improvements.
