Multiflight re-signs with Air Total for 3 years

Air Total and Multiflight have continued their long-standing partnership after Multiflight recently signed a contract renewal for 3 years starting in November 2017.

Total supply Multiflight with Jet A1 and Avgas 100LL as well as providing two refuelling trucks that allow Multiflight to serve fuel to a range of customers including corporate jets, helicopters, ambulance flights, private aircraft owners and general aviation training and recreational flights.

Multiflight Director Miles Beecham said: Multiflight operates a custom-built 180,000 litre Avtur/Jet A1 fuel farm, along with Avtur fuel trucks and Avgas bowsers.  We have been working with Air Total for many years now and we are extremely happy with the service provided.  We are delighted to sign a new three-year fuel supply agreement."

After Multiflight opened its doors as a centre of aviation excellence in 1994, at Leeds Bradford Airport, their reputation has grown as a location that provides first class private aviation services and facilities. Multi-million pound investment in the site and a major refurbishment scheme has transformed Multiflight into one of the UK’s finest private aviation companies, with services including sales, parts, engineering, executive handling, hangarage, helicopter charter and training, and fixed wing charter.

The contract renewal means that Air Total will continue to work closely with Multiflight in areas such as fuel quality and standards, as well as ensuring security of supply to ensure the risk of fuel shortage at the site is completely minimised.

In July, Multiflight hosted a Total UK facilitated JIG 4 training course which brought together airfields and operators from all over the country for a day of classroom and practical learning to the internationally recognised JIG (Joint Inspectors Group) standards. Four members of the Multiflight Fuel team attended to further their knowledge on fuel quality from refining, then right through the supply and distribution chain to refuelling an aircraft.
