The event embraces a virtual format
Due to current restrictions, the awards will take place completely virtually for the first time after the being postponed last year. While we look forward to a time where celebrations can continue in person, the remote format of the event is equally as exciting.
With no seat limitations, the event welcomes all to join for what will be an engaging evening.
The awards ceremony will recognise and reward those that have achieved outstanding results and demonstrated the highest standards of safety, sustainability, efficiency, and more. With 16 categories, the awards will acknowledge industry-leading companies for their commitment, efforts, and excellence.
Total UK has sponsored The Award for Environmental Sustainability in the Highways Sector category since the Highways Awards were founded in 2004. We’re proud to be continuing to do so this year, and we wish the best of luck to the shortlisted finalists.
An award-winning celebrity host
The 17th annual highways awards will be hosted by TV and radio presenter, Colin Murray. Colin, a three-time Sony Gold winner, hosts Radio 5 Live’s sports panel show Fighting Talk and anchors Channel 5’s Football on 5 show.
Bringing his well-known humor and enthusiasm, Colin is back by popular demand after successfully hosting the 2019 event.
